Fred Frank

Vice Chair and Director, Lehman Brothers

Mr. Frank is vice chair and director of Lehman Brothers. 'He is generally referred to as the dean of the investment bankers working the biotechnology sector,' says G. Steven Burrill, a merchant banker in the biotech industry. And no wonder. Mr. Frank has engineered--and reengineered--the complex financial architecture of biotech, overseeing seminal deals like the Genentech and Hoffmann-La Roche Holdings merger. Among the other high-profile notches on his belt: Mr. Frank took public Applied Biosystems, the first gene-sequencing machine manufacturer {now owned by Perkin-Elmer}. And in 1993, he worked with Craig Venter and William Haseltine in a $125 million collaboration between Human Genome Sciences and SmithKline Beecham. At the time, this was the largest biotech alliance in history.

Before joining Lehman Brothers as a Partner in October, 1969, Mr. Frank was co-director of research, as well as Vice President and Director, of Smith, Barney & Co. Incorporated. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a member of The New York Society of Security Analysts and a past president of the Chemical Processing Industry Analysts.

Born in Salt Lake City on May 31, 1932, Mr. Frank graduated from the Hotchkiss School in 1950 and from Yale University in 1954. He then spent two years in the Army, most of the time stationed with Supreme Headquarters Allied Powers Europe (SHAPE) in Paris. After release from service, he attended Stanford Graduate School of Business Administration. He received his MBA from Stanford in 1958 and began his Wall Street career that year.

In addition to serving as a director of Business Engine, Diagnostic Products Corporation, Digital Arts & Sciences, Inc., eSoft, Incorporated, Landec Corporation, Pharmaceutical Product Development, Inc., and Physiome Sciences, he is Chairman of the National Genetics Foundation, a director of the Salk Institute, Trustee Emeritus of The Hotchkiss School, a member of the Yale School of Organization and Management Advisory Board, a member of the Pharmaceutical Executive Magazine advisory board, a member of the Board of Governors of the National Center for Genome Resources and Chairman of the Board of The Irvington Institute for Immunological Research.

Feroze Waheed

CEO, Astra Global Services

Mr. Feroze Waheed, is the founder, President and CEO of Astra Business Services, Inc. Prior to founding Astra, Mr. Waheed was employed by Diversified Collection Services, Inc. from November, 1996 to March, 2003 as its Executive Vice president and Chief Financial Officer. From October, 1994 to October, 1996 Mr. Waheed was employed by WSFS Financial Corporation as its Executive Vice President. From July, 1988 to September, 1994 Mr. Waheed was employed by Providential Home Income Plan, a company he co-founded as its Executive Vice President and took the company public in 1992. From April, 1987 to June, 1988 Mr. Waheed was employed by First City 100 as its Vice President and as Executive Vice President of Industrial Leasing Corporation, and Vice President of First City Credit Corporation, two wholly owned subsidiaries of First City 100. Mr. Waheed was employed by BRAE Corporation from July, 1978 to January, 1987 and was its Executive Vice president and Chief Operating Officer at the time of his resignation in January of 1987. From October, 1984 to March, 1986, he was Vice President-Finance.

F. Matthew Rhodes

President, Conexant Systems, Inc.

Matt Rhodes has been president of Conexant since May 2002. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president and general manager of Conexantâ??s Personal Computing division and as director of marketing for software products. Before joining Conexant, Rhodes was director of VLSI Technology at Pacific Communication Sciences, Inc. Rhodes received a masterâ??s degree in business administration from the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles. He also holds a masterâ??s degree in electrical engineering from Lehigh University and a bachelorâ??s degree in physics from Pennsylvania State University.

Frank Prestipino

VP - Global Enterprise Applications Marketing, Oracle Corporation

Frank Prestipino is vice president of marketing at Oracle Corporation. Mr. Prestipino is responsible for development of enterprise applications business initiatives and across the US, Asia, Europe, Latin America and Canada. His responsibilities include the development and execution of marketing strategies for new growth markets for the Oracle E-Business Suite.

Mr. Prestipino joined Oracle Australia in November 1996, then moved to Singapore as senior director of B2B marketing for Asia Pacific before moving to the U.S.A. His experience prior to joining Oracle includes other software vendors such as SAP and Computer Associates. Prior to joining Oracle, he held the position of chief marketing officer for the Open Learning Technology Corporation, where he was responsible for the development and rollout of Australia~s premier online education site known as Education Network Australia (Edna).

His career spans over 20 years in the IT industry where he spent the first eight years developing and supporting manufacturing, order entry, sales and marketing and logistics systems for Coca-Cola in Australia as well as world-wide.

Mr. Prestipino also ran his own successful consulting company with some of the largest manufacturing Australian and overseas corporations, such as Corning, Seagram Australia and Elders IXL.

Farrokh Billimoria

General Partner, Artiman Ventures

Prior to founding Artiman Ventures, Farrokh Billimoria was most recently at the Sprout Group (CSFB Venture affiliate) as a General Partner since 1999. Prior to that he was at Hambrecht & Quist (now JP Morgan/H&Q) where he was a Wall Street Analyst covering the networking and communications sector. He was actively involved in the corporate finance and venture capital
initiatives at Hambrecht & Quist. The Wall Street Journal ranked him as an All-Star Analyst for a number of years among all research analysts covering the Communications and Networking Sector. Previously, he was an equity analyst at Unterberg Towbin (formerly Unterberg Harris).

Prior to joining Unterberg Towbin, Farrokh was Vice President at Bankers Trust (acquired by Deutsche Bank) for 8 years where he was the executive responsible for the global infrastructure. He has held senior managerial
roles in development engineering with various networking equipment companies and service providers.

He began investing in private companies in 1995. Some of his investments include Nexabit (LU), NetBoost (INTC), Excess Bandwidth (GLSP), Exodus
(EXDS) and AstralPoint (ALC). His recent investments/board seats include Airwide Solutions and Opsource among others.

Farrokh has a bachelor?s degree in Electrical Engineering and a Master?s degree in Computer Science. His knowledge of the industry has made him a regular speaker at various conferences and industry shows such as Comnet and John McQuillan~s ATM and Next Generation Networks Conference, Silicon India, Asian Venture Capital Forum, TiE and SUN World Expo. In addition, he has
written for Internet week (formerly Communications Week) and is often quoted in the Wall Street Journal and various magazines and trade journals for his technical and competitive expertise.
