For more than 20 years, Gary Frings has been helping
clients to successfully utilize technology by
leveraging is expertise in the distinct disciplines of
business strategy and information systems. Before
helping to form Merador, Gary served as CEO and
President of Systems Solutions Group (SSG) for more
than 9 years. He founded SSG in 1991 and grew it into
a multi-million dollar consulting firm. SSG was listed
among the Inc 500 as one of the fastest growing,
privately-held businesses in America in 1996, and was
identified as the second fastest growing company in
San Francisco in 1995. SSG was successfully sold in
2000.
SSG was a custom software development and information
technology consulting firm that focused on
implementing call center software for major
telecommunications firms and other Fortune 500
companies. Gary supervised the technical delivery
teams, providing solution architecture and systems
design oversight and review, and also headed the sales
organization. SSG served clients from Mexico to
Holland to Hong Kong to Venezuela and throughout the
United States.
Gary began his career at Andersen Consulting (now
Accenture), where he implemented software systems for
clients in a wide array of industries, including
international banking, insurance, manufacturing, and
state government.
He holds undergraduate degrees in Computer Science and
Finance from the University of Wisconsin, and received
his MBA from the University of California's Haas
School of Business.
