With over 25 years of experience, John Hitchins
has extensive business development and sales
management expertise in the business intelligence,
enterprise software, electronic collaboration,
networking, and communications industries. He joined
Teksouth in 2006 to lead the sales initiative on it’s
EntelliCache product line of business intelligence
enhancement tools.
Previously he has consulted with series of technology
companies in the US and abroad in corporate legal,
e-learning, enterprise collaboration, data
warehousing, data transformation and enterprise tools
areas.
He has held senior sales and marketing management
positions with technology companies such as TANDY,
Hummingbird, Interwise and JetForm. He has forged
business relationships for his clients with
world-class companies including: Microsoft,
Compaq/DEC, Sharp, Moore, IBM/Lotus, Mattel/Learning
Tree, Anheuser Busch, Nextel, Progressive Insurance,
Accenture, Deloitte & Touch, Cap Gemini/Ernst & Young,
Global Knowledge and Motorola.
As a proponent of open standards and interoperability,
Mr. Hitchins has been a guest speaker at a number of
computer forums and user groups. Mr. Hitchins is a
current or past member of the American Marketing
Association, Chicago Software Association, Electronic
Mail Association, Software Publishers Association,
Asynchronous Protocol Specification Alliance, and was
also one of the founders of the MHS Alliance.
