World's largest Entrepreneurial Conference
Held at Santa Clara Convention Center & Westin Hotel,
May 16 - 17, 2003

The world's largest convention for entrepreneurs TiEcon 2003, was held at the Westin Hotel and Conference Center, Santa Clara, Calif., on the 16th and 17th of May, 2003.

Aimed at providing a platform for the technology vendors to showcase their company and their solutions, TiEcon 2003 showcased the ever changing ecosystems in the areas of Information Technology, Communications and Biotechnology. Over 100 distinguished industry veterans addressing the attendees, the keynote speakers included Dr. Irwin Mark Jacobs, Chairman & CEO, Qualcomm,Donald Valentine, Founder, Sequoia Capital among others. The event was attended by over 2500 participants including successful venture capitalists, investment bankers, policy makers, leading law firms, entrepreneurs and industry professionals from across the U.S., South Asia and Europe. The world's largest convention for high technology entrepreneurs was represented by leading companies including Corporates, financial firms, VC firms, service providers including legal, accounting, marketing and other service providers, search firms and Government policy makers.

 

TiEcon 2003 concluded with the announcement of spotlight companies in six different categories. It was the largest attended festival yet and spread over two days, provided attendees the opportunity to get an idea about the latest in technological advancements.
